Frequently asked questions
Open the Shorely app, search for the beach or cove you want (or pick a saved spot), choose a vehicle tier, and confirm. You'll see your driver match and live tracking right away.
Fares are based on distance, time, and your chosen vehicle tier, and are shown upfront before you book. Shorely takes a flat 8% service fee — there's no surge pricing, so the fare you agree to is the fare you pay.
The upfront fare is what you agree to when you confirm. It can change only if the trip itself changes — for example, if you add a stop or change your destination.
Drivers are verified before they can accept trips, every trip can be tracked live, and you can share your trip with someone you trust. You can rate every ride and contact support if something isn't right. See our Safety page for details.
Sign up as a driver in the app and complete verification, including the required vehicle, license, and insurance documentation. Once approved, you can go online and accept beach pickups on your own schedule — and you keep the majority of every fare.
You pay in-app with the methods supported by our payment processor, and your fare is charged automatically when your trip is complete. Completed fares are generally non-refundable, but if something went wrong, contact support and we'll review it. See our Terms of Service for details.
It happens! Open the app, find the trip in your history, and use the support option to report a lost item — or email support@getshorely.com with your trip details. We'll help you reconnect with your driver to arrange the return.
